Went to night one of Two Brights Nights for Human Rights. Hosting the show was Doyle & Debbie who really did a great job of keeping you from realizing that there was a stage change going on. Considering that those changes were only about four minutes really helped too!
Mike Bub pulled enough shifts in the night - playing for Verlon Thompson, 18 South and Shawn Camp - that he should've been listed on the show Hatch Show Print! Seriously. He deserved it.
Each act maybe did about fifteen minutes? Totally a guess-timate since I wasn't watching the clock. Really, who would? Well, truthfully, I do when I'm scheduled for a bunch of shows in one day when I'm actually working. But this one was for me. I do admit to wishing the people behind us would've watched the clock and tired of talking though. At the end, I heard one exclaim 'that was awesome.' Hmmm...really? How do you know since you talked through. The. Entire. Thing! For several of us, I think they could've done the 'all-sing' portion all night long though and we would've been happy!
