I was so glad we did! With a super-quick glance at the menu to avoid slowing down the line. We opted to go with the rib tips platter and since it said it was 2lbs and for someone with a rather large appetite, it was shared. We added a third side, but really didn't need it.
In an odd twist, EVERYTHING on the plate was good and the employees were friendly! I'm not usually a fan of messing with rib tips and I'm really weird about potato salad. The flavor of both was so good though that the tips made it worth the trouble (may still go to ribs next time though just to not have to mess with those little things) and the potato salad was so good.
I've been looking at the Food Network site just to see if they have the potato salad recipe...I found that there are EIGHT recipes for the Neely's under Potato Salad!!! The one listed as Grandma's looks to be the closest, so I'm going to try it in the coming weeks and see if it is a match. Not that it's going to be a substitute but it's across town from me, so it will do in the interim when I can't get over there.
We also ended up getting the beans and the fries. Both were really good. The fries were seasoned, but not so obtrusively that the spice-offended (I'm not one fo those) are turned off. It's a very light dusting...I would've been happy with more than a dusting! But that's my taste.
I have to go back just so I can work my way through the menu! It'll also be a nice place to hit up when the NFL gets everything straightened out and we have the Tennessee Titans back out there for practices. You can see the facility from the Neely's windows on the lake!
