March 2nd we had a pretty bad storm. The hail actually covered the ground like snow. It was amazing. These were taken in between storms!
This guy showed up in the back yard a few weeks ago. Not the best shot since I had to do it through the window.
The birds left sometime yesterday. I have a feeling it was when I could hear a bird outside screaming her head off. Assuming it was the mother giving instruction. Gonna miss them. Hopefully, they've already found the birdie buffet in the back yard!
It shouldn't be long now. They can barely fit in the nest together now! I keep getting the "please help me" look each time I pass by. :-(
May not be too much longer before they take flight!
The babies are here!!!! They have very little to no hair, but they're here and appear to be healthy!
Late last month, a bird was discovered sleeping an awful lot in a wreath at the front of the house. The cats were fascinated with the shadow of the bird flying past the window when the sun shone through.
At the first of the month, she'd laid one egg. Now we have at least three! She flies out anytime you walk onto the front porch though! Hopefully, she'll stick around for a photo opp soon. The neighbors will just have to deal with the fall wreath until the babies are born and ready to fly!
